Throughout our lives, we meet people on a daily basis. Some of them become a close part of us, others just come and go. At The City School PAF Chapter A-levels section, we are a family. Each of us plays an important role as a family member with their own duties to fulfill. We fight, laugh, cry, joke around and argue like any normal family does. When one member of this family decides to leave and walk away, that is what strikes us. The harsh reality of life which goes on no matter how things are. Bushra Siddique, is one of those members of our PAF Family, who act like the backbone, keeping everything in place and getting everyone to do their jobs right. But now, this very important person is leaving her family to walk out into the world of strangers.
I remember the first ever time I spoke to her. 'Miss, I wanna get a scholarship for university', is what I said to her. She looked at me, gave me her signature 'Yeah, sure' look, and asked me for my name. From that day forth, there was not a single day spent at school, when I didn't tell my friends, 'Let's go to the counselor's office'. Merely because of the fact, that this lady's bright, happy face, could make any sort of distress go away. Every time I got told off by my teachers, or had a fight with any of my friends, the first person I'd go to would be her. She'd ask me to sit down, offer me biscuits and then laugh about some completely off topic subject. That is one thing I will miss about her oh so much.
NOT to be forget the way she gives the best advice in the world. From academics, to personal problems, Miss Bushra knows how to handle everything. Her honesty, and straight-forwardness makes her exemplary. Her dedication towards her students' well being and prosperity make her the best counselor one can ever have. I wouldn't be wrong if I say I am very jealous of the people in Dubai who have snatched our Miss Bushra away from us.
During the elections last year, she calmed me down every time I had a melt down. She's seen me cry, motivated me to move forward no matter what tries bringing me down and made sure I give my 100% to anything I do (still trying miss). She has been the force behind us all. Knowing that we are bidding farewell to her way before we have our own is heart breaking. Not only did she miss out on our Welcome, she will miss out on our Farewell as well. Honestly that sadden's me more. Who will give me my super inspirational title now?
No matter where you go, what you do, you will always be in each and everyone's heart Miss B. We wish you all the success and happiness in life. We hope that Allah blesses you abundantly at every step you take towards progressing further and being the extraordinary woman that you are. You are an inspirational for all those girls who think they can not achieve their aims, by the Grace of Allah you keep getting more and more, which not only makes us happy but also makes us extremely proud of the fact that we were under the guidance of a lady like you. You are more than just a teacher or a career's counselor, you are a sister to all of us. And like I said today, Amazing, is Miss Bushra. And this is not a good bye. We shall meet again. So that you can be proud, that you raised us up to be who we become.
We will Miss you a lot.
Loads of Love.
From the Batch of 2014.
