Life is transitory and unpredictable. One moment you are the happiest person alive and the next you are just sitting in a corner all by yourself wishing to be with someone you dearly love. Family, friends, and everyone close to you mean the world. To bear with their loss is one of the worst feelings one can conceive. Death is silent. It comes to us like a shadow and embraces us within, without giving us the chance to say, ‘No, not yet.’

No one plans the future except the Almighty. Saying or doing anything for the future never helps because you never know what comes around. We think about how things matter and what could be done to make the future worth living for. How would you feel if you had no future? If you were to die and all you wished for was just one more day, one more hour, or even just another minute to tell someone how much they mean to you. You wouldn't even get that. Death and time wait for none. We don’t choose to live. But all we can do is pray that we live long enough to see our dreams come true, make our parents proud, achieve even the tiniest bit of honour which we can. Being happy is the first key to success.

And who cares if we can’t beat death? We can at least make our life worth remembering. Mark down our names in gold so that everyone who hears it can say, ‘Oh yes, that person was one of the best people I have known’. Life is too short to hold grudges against one another. So go say sorry to the friends you don’t speak to anymore, tell your mum you love the way she scolds you, be nice to you brother or sister just because you can never do without them. Because you never know when this chance is snatched away leaving behind only memories.

Hamza Khatri, I did not know you personally, but I am sure you were an amazing person. I am sure your parents will be proud that they had a son like you. And who says you have left? You will always live in each and every person’s heart who knew you. I know you are smiling at us from the heavens above, thinking of how many people care about you, you'll live in our hearts forever. Rest in Peace brother.

Death does not wait.
Time does not stop.

While we're lost in our world, we forget that one day we won't be here anymore.
We plan for our future as if we'll live a hundred years. But, in reality any day could be our day to meet our Lord.

Hamza Khatri, our age fellow, our school fellow, our class fellow, our friend and our brother. It took just four hours for his life in this world to end. When you hear his name, raise your hands to pray for his Maghfirah.
