For some, It might be to pass in their Exams. For some, it might be to get a new phone. For some, it might be to go out with friends. And for some, it might be to see others destruct :)
But have you ever pondered over the fact that what does happiness mean to those who are deprived of this blessing ?
A group of enlightened students from our school, The PAF chapter A level section, did a remarkable job this past week.
Out of all the 700 A level wards, these were the few who actually thought of doing at least something for the domestic staff in our school who may not be in the limelight but are always the reason for our success.
These days, when we celebrate birthdays in schools or anywhere else, cake is not used for eating, rather it is used for giving each other facials, and without cake spread all over your clothes, face, and everything else surrounding you, a birthday is never complete, Is it? And then, these domestic are the people who wipe off all the cake, calculating at the back of their head about how much time has passed since they have had a bite of something as sweet as cake, or how much would have they supported their families with the money wasted on it.
But it is something to be proud of, having such students in our school, respecting the values of people and treating them as their own. A lesson to be learned for sure. Spreading happiness and caring for others can set even the worst possible problems in a society on a straight path. So the next time when you want to know what real happiness is, look into the eyes of someone who actually needs it. :)
