Everyone is beautiful! :)

“It is  sad. How plastic and artificial life has become. It gets harder and harder to find
something…real. Real love, real friends, real body parts…”
― Jess C. Scott, The Other Side of Life

They say we are all beautiful, some more than the others, but God has gifted us
all the distinctive charm of looking and being good. But some people, I’m afraid, like
to believe otherwise. Yes, these mentally challenged people reckon they are ugly, so
ugly that they need modifications! Talk about being insecure!

Now since they believe that God has not done His job right in creating them, they
decide to let doctors have a shot at it, rebuild them, beautify them or as I like to
phrase it, ‘plastic-coat’ them!

Now I understand when something is broken it needs to be fixed; you fracture
your arm, you bandage it up. Your kidneys fail you, you get back-up. What I don’t
understand is the reconstruction of something that is ALREADY there! Its like, ‘So,
you got Rhinoplasty (nose job) done? Wow, does that help you smell better?’

It seems people have forgotten the joy of being themselves, now it’s more like, pay
for a beautiful body and enjoy being the new you! But the question still remains
unattended, WHY? Why waste thousands of dollars, trying to impress the world, the
same world that once accused you of being ugly enough to need a cosmetic surgery in
the first place!

And inner beauty? HA, dude, that is out of the question, it is unknown to these
people! Spending money on breast augmentation? I wish the implant had swelled up
your heart too, to feel for the needy and realize the better use of your credit cards!

But let’s just say, you are too selfish to spend your money for others and would
rather keep it for your own use, and that’s where you lose me again! If you are
SO selfish, how come you are spending fortunes over something that might cause
severe side effects and serious damage to your otherwise healthy body! Or are
you not aware that the laser surgeries and extensive treatments might result into
incurable diseases! Well if you didn’t see that one coming, then maybe you need a ‘brain’
augmentation!

Per se, the side effects are dealt with nicely, and you do not end up having, say,
cancer! But what if the surgery doesn’t go smoothly? And your Otoplasty lands you
with elf ears-clearly more hideous than the ones God gifted you with?!

Woah! Silly people, the people who love you, love you for who you are, they don’t
need you to modify yourself, and as for those who hate you, well don’t bother, for
they will hate you for merely existing! So stop trying beautifying your appearances,
as beauty lies within, always has, always will, your plastic bag won’t help!
